Private Snorkeling Boat Tour in Papagayo

Your group gets its own boat for the morning or the afternoon. We pick you up right on the beach by your hotel, anywhere in the Papagayo area, and also in Flamingo, Conchal, Las Catalinas and Tamarindo. There is no need to drive to a marina.

The boat takes you to the bays around Playa Huevos, on the Papagayo Peninsula. These are calm, protected bays with rocky reefs close to the surface, where the water is often clear and full of fish. Your bilingual guide gives everyone a mask, snorkel and fins, shows first-timers how to use them and swims with the group.

Sea turtles are a common sight here, along with schools of tropical fish. In season, you may also see dolphins and whales from the boat.

Life jackets and floats are on board, so children and people who are not strong swimmers can join and float on the surface. Between swims there are snacks and cold drinks: beer, sodas, water and fresh fruit.

The price is per boat, not per person. Our boats take up to 20 people, and we also have smaller boats for couples and small groups. If you want a longer day, add a BBQ lunch.
