Overview

A safari float, a waterfall and your choice

A private day built around a safari float on the Tenorio and Corobicí rivers and a swim at Llanos de Cortés Waterfall, plus a third activity that you choose.

We leave at 7:00 AM with your own bilingual naturalist guide and private transport. The first stop is Llanos de Cortés, a wide curtain waterfall in the dry forest of Guanacaste with a natural pool where you can swim.

Next comes the safari float: about 1 hour and 45 minutes drifting down calm water in a raft, with your guide rowing and pointing out the wildlife along the banks. Crocodiles resting on the shore, howler monkeys in the trees, iguanas and herons are part of what you can see from the raft. After the float, we sit down to a typical Costa Rican lunch at the restaurant at the float’s starting point.

In the afternoon you do your third activity. Choose one: the Sloth Encounter in the Tenorio Rainforest, the Chocolate & Coffee Tour or the Hanging Bridges. You are back at your hotel around 5:00 PM.
